The mehr-tanken app is a useful tool for finding the most affordable gas station in your area. It provides live fuel prices, forecasts, and recommendations based on price fluctuations.

You can view the current fuel prices either on a full-screen map, in a list format, or in a combined view. The main menu offers additional features such as a route planner, price alarm, and consumption calculator. The app also includes a slider to easily switch to the charging points area.

One exciting new feature is Flizzi, which helps you determine if taking a detour to another gas station is cost-effective based on your car's consumption and capacity, as well as your distance to the gas stations.

The app has received recognition for its excellence, being awarded Germany's best app in the "refueling" category by the F.A.Z Institute and being named a top app of 2021 by FOCUS-MONEY.

If you're looking for live fuel prices and detailed information on gas stations throughout Germany, mehr-tanken is the app for you. It partners with the Markttransparenzstelle to provide reliable data. In addition to fuel prices, you can enjoy several helpful features:

 <li>Choose from a variety of fuel types, including diesel, Super E5 & E10, premium fuels, autogas, natural gas, hydrogen, and more.</li>

 <li>Build a personal list of favorite gas stations.</li>
 <li>Sort and filter options enable you to find the exact fuel and gas station brand you prefer.</li>
 <li>Set up push notifications to alert you when prices drop in your area.</li>
 <li>Use the consumption calculator, discount cards, dark mode, and other helpful tools.</li>

If you're an electric vehicle (EV) driver, mehr-tanken has you covered as well. During onboarding, you can choose "electricity" and select your most commonly used charging plugs. The app provides information on over 30,000 charging stations throughout Germany and offers the following features:

 <li>Check the availability of charging stations in advance.</li>
 <li>Set charging tariffs, status, and capacity preferences to estimate charging costs per session.</li>
 <li>Compare costs across different charging tariffs available at a station.</li>
 <li>Create a personal list of preferred charging stations.</li>
 <li>Sort and filter options allow you to find charging stations based on plug type, charging power, and accepted charging cards.</li>
 <li>Effortlessly navigate to your chosen station using your device's navigation system.</li>
